I take a straightforward approach to fees and make sure costs are explained clearly before any work begins.

Fixed fees are offered for Wills and Lasting Powers of Attorney, and probate costs are explained from the outset.

Wills

Affordable Fixed Prices

Fees for Wills are charged on a fixed-fee basis.

​

The cost will depend on your circumstances and the nature of the advice required. I will always explain the fee in advance, and there is no obligation to proceed following an initial enquiry.

Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA)

Plan Ahead With Confidence

Fees for Lasting Powers of Attorney depend on whether one or both types are required. I will explain the options available and confirm the fee in advance, so you have clarity before any work begins.

Please note that a separate registration fee is payable to the Office of the Public Guardian. This fee is set by the government and is not included in my charges.

Probate

Clear Guidance When You Need It Most

Probate fees are based on the nature and complexity of the estate and the level of assistance required.

I can assist on a grant-only basis, where I prepare the probate application and you deal with the administration of the estate.

​

Alternatively, I can act on a full estate administration basis, dealing with the process from start to finish, including contacting asset holders and distributing the estate.

​

I do not charge a percentage of the estate. Fees are usually charged on a time-spent basis or, where appropriate, as an agreed fixed fee. An estimate will be provided at the outset once the relevant details of the estate are known, together with a clear explanation of what is included.

​

Fees are currently not subject to VAT. Disbursements, such as Probate Registry fees and third-party costs, are charged separately where applicable.
